Our doors are open to people of all ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds – ALL are welcome at St John’s.

Our exciting and engaging range of youth activities offer young people a chance to get to understand how God is part of our lives.

Do get in touch if you’d like to have your baby christened, get married or arrange a funeral. We can also arrange hospital visits.

We take Climate change seriously and are involved in activism both locally and nationally.

At our monthly Forest Church, our young people can connect with God through nature, celebrating the passing seasons and the natural environment.

Occasional choir or cabaret night? Film club or art exhibition? Artistic and musical engagement is part of our life as a church.

St John’s Cafe hosts many weekly activities and is a key part of our presence in the community. Come along for coffee and a chat!

We aim to make a difference in our community and are actively engaged in social projects in Newtown and across Reading.
